Summary

I sometimes can't believe just how much has happened in the last couple of life-changing years. It's been a total whirlwind of a journey, and I'm so grateful to all my followers for their amazing love and support along the way.

From my very first toy kitchen which was my pride and joy right through to the my very first Instagram posts stories of my cleaning routine, I'm going to take you back to the start of how it all began.

But there is so much more to my story than just cleaning tips; there have been the highest of highs, but also heart-breaking devastating lows.

So let's do this! Put your Hinch Lists to one side, get comfy and join me on the sofa with a cuppa. Welcome to my world.

This is me: Soph - the wife, the mother and the person behind Mrs Hinch.

Review

I’ve always enjoyed watching Mrs Hinch journey from the start. But this book has not only changed some views, it’s made me cry and it’s simply beautiful. Sophie opens up about her childhood, how she met Jamie, her health, trolls and becoming a mummy and so much more. I just want to give her the biggest hug and take her pain away. This book is a real eye opener.

I laughed and I cried. I feel I now know Soph like an old friend and although I’ve been following her since before she wrote Hinch Yourself Happy, you can just tell that this has taken a hell a lot of inner strength to write. To allow us readers into her life on a much more personal level than just what she posts on her account, has undoubtedly taken incredible courage. This book is her laying herself bare for all. Yet throughout it all still promoting positivity and sincere gratitude to her followers.

With chapters like Anxiety, Motherhood, and Body Talk, I think this book will reach out to many more than just those who love to clean their homes. There is so much more to Sophie Hinchliffe than fluffy dusters and Zoflora!! How many other successful influencers can say they still do their family shop in Morrison’s, buy their baby’s clothes from Tesco, and many of their own clothes come from High Street stores? Mrs Hinch is so relatable to many and this new book simply proves why.

After years of having anxiety and never labelling it I can say I'm so much better than I was but I don't think it will ever be fully gone. Sometimes when I'm nervous, scared, worried or upset it will kick in x10 and I have to pick myself up again.

I think I loved reading this book even more due to the fact she has done so many amazing things since then, she now has Lennie her other son. Seeing her as a mum of two on Instagram is so inspiring for me as with most mums you feel a bit insecure sometimes and just need that reassurance. I love how down to earth Sophie is, I am so excited to see her adventures at Hinch Farm.

With an incredible insight into the real world of an influencer, everyone with an Instagram account needs to read this, and pay close attention to chapter 7! It is definitely one I am going to recommend because whether you love her or you are not too sure about her I’m sure this book will make you see things in a different light. She’s a normal person just like the rest of us. She didn’t ask to fall into the fame game and it’s not all glitz and glam.
