Summary

He hates her...almost as much as he wants her. Gorgeous, cocky, and fast on his way to becoming a hotshot doctor, Josh Chen has never met a woman he couldn’t charm, except for Jules freaking Ambrose.

The beautiful redhead has been a thorn in his side since they met, but she also consumes his thoughts in a way no woman ever has. When their animosity explodes into one unforgettable night, he proposes a solution that’ll get her out of his system once and for all: an enemies with benefits arrangement with simple rules. No jealousy. No strings attached. And absolutely no falling in love.

Outgoing and ambitious, Jules Ambrose is a former party girl focused on passing the attorney’s bar exam. The last thing she needs is to get involved with a doctor who puts the SUFFER in insufferable…no matter how good-looking he is. But the more she gets to know him, the more she realises there’s more than meets the eye to the man she’s hated for so long. Her best friend’s brother. Her nemesis. And her only salvation.

Theirs is a match made in hell, and when the demons from their past catch up with them, they’re faced with truths that could either save them …or destroy everything they’ve worked for.

Twisted Hate is a steamy enemy with benefits/enemies to lovers' romance. It's book three in the Twisted series but can be read as a standalone.

Review

Twisted Hate is an intense enemy to lovers, best friend's brother and office romance mixed up. I was very excited to see what would happen with Josh and Jules after seeing their seething hate shown in the other books since the very beginning of Twisted Love.

Ana Huang's writing is fantastic, the chemistry she can put into her relationships, and I was excited to see how Josh and Jules' relationship would play out. I feel like hate to love in contemporary romances can be unbelievable at times as it is difficult to see the reason for hatred. But, when it comes to Josh and Jules, I believe it is a mixture of misunderstandings from when they first met; Josh being an overprotective brother and the fact they like to hate each other made it work.

Ana Huang showed few interactions between Josh and Jules in Twisted Love, and Twisted Games had anticipation building. As soon as I found out what the book was about, I could not start reading it fast enough.

We have seen things happen to Josh from his sister Ava's perspective, but now we know how the aftermath affected him. We see how Josh is coping with his family and how he manages when he loses patients at work. We also see more into Jules. We learn about her past, what she has dealt with, and how she strives to become a better person. She is confident, intelligent and strong. We see how her character grows from her past and her learning to trust again.

This book had me in tears, I had high expectations of how this book would be, and Ana Huang surpassed them by miles! When I finished the book, I felt lost and overwhelmed and wanted more. Josh and Jules are the definitions of soulmates. Their relationship, the development, the banter, it just was incredible.

I highly recommend this series; I cannot wait to read Twisted Lies to see Stella and Christian's story. July 28th cannot come quick enough!!!
