Review Policy
On this page you will find my review policy on how I write my reviews, how I deal with ARCs and unboxings, etc
Rating System
I did not like the book, I either did not finish the book or if I did finish the book I did not enjoy it.
I would not read the book again. This does not mean I completely disliked the book, there may be moments I enjoyed but overall it was lacking in areas. I would personally not recommend this book
I enjoyed the book, I didn't entirely love it but I did not dislike it either. This may be because I found there were things that bothered me in the book. I would recommend this to people who like the genre or have been curious about the book.
I enjoyed the book, and I would recommend it to friends and family. This book would be a pleasure to read, I liked some parts as well as loving some parts but didn't love everything. This could be because of some issues in the book.
I really enjoyed the book and I would recommend the book to everyone. This book I absolutely adored, it is one of my favourites and I would happily read it again
What are in my reviews?
My reviews will include a picture of the book taken by myself, a summary which I normally get from the blurb of the book, my review and opinion on the book and my star rating
All my reviews are my own words and my honest opinion, I will not write a review to please someone this will include flagging up problematic messages within the book.
When I am reviewing a series I will include a picture of the series taken by myself, favourite book of the series, as well as the overall star rating of the series, I will also post a round up opinion of the series. I will have the individual book ratings at the bottom
Requesting Reviews
If you would like me to review a specific book or your own book, please contact me either via Instagram @readwithgigi or email; readwithgigi@yahoo.com. I own a kindle so I can take E-books but I do prefer a physical copy.
Any Arcs or Gifted books I receive I will try to write a review on them within a week or receiving them, unless I have been given a specific date to release a review. If I feel this will be a problem I will let you know.
Unboxing and Book Tours
I will post any unboxing onto my instagram, whether it is book mail, book haul, gifted, etc. I will post any book tour promotions in the timeframe given, if I feel I can't I will let the hosts know.
Subscription Boxes
My unboxing review for subscription boxes will have a breakdown of each item, if it is done by a small business I will promote them. Once again I will give my honest opinion on the box.
Timeframe
When it comes to posting reviews of general books I am reading I will try to get them out in a week but I am a full time mum of two and a wife and as stated above reviews for book tours and arcs will be prioritised.
